Vincent Verhaeghe

Born in Grasse in 1995, he now lives in Paris.

After studying architecture in Versailles and Rome, he has devoted himself fully to ink drawing, creating architectural portraits of interiors, exteriors, and gardens for private collectors. In addition to commissioned work, he embarks each year on a major solo journey that becomes a space for personal creation, rooted in a desire to explore something more universal.

His practice is nourished by reading, writing, analog photography, and drawing, all guided by a passion for geography, the discovery of the world, and the need to understand it. These experiences become both physical and intellectual challenges, from which emerge large atmospheric drawings in charcoal or pastel. For him, these are not just representations, but tools for understanding the world and his place within it.

The summer of 2024 was marked by a descent of the Rhône River by kayak, from its Swiss source to its mouth on the Mediterranean coast. Over the course of three months and nine hundred kilometers alone, he gathered a rich body of material that formed the basis of his first solo exhibition : De la Glace au Sel, exhibited in Arles in 2025.
